If you want to go to a doctor you need a health insurance in Germany.
There are two possibilities: private or compulsory
Here you can find a little explanation: www.youtube.com/watch?v=HfACZuLfUMA
compulsory:
> Salary under 4257€ per month
> Mandatory for everyone under that assessment ceiling
> You can choose between lots of different “Krankenkassen”
> You can get insured by your employer
> Family members are insured for free
private:
> Treatment by a head physician
> inpatient one-bed-rooms
> often shorter waiting times at the doctors
> every family member pays their own contribution
> usually people with higher salaries
> you have to get insured by yourself
> expensive
In the end it’s your own choice (in case you’re over the assessment ceiling) to choose which type of insurance fits best for your requirements. The best would be to talk about all that with your employer and several insurance providers. We wish you good luck at finding your personal type of insurance!
